About ESW1

Everything Starts With 1 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Tina Long in memory of her son Tyler, who died by bullycide at 17. Our story is told in part in the documentary "Bully." We believe young people hold the key to schools that are safe for everyone.

ESW1 has partnered with organizations including GLAAD, The Bully Project, Awareity, PFLAG, GLSEN, the American School Health Association, and the National Association of School Nurses, among others, in bringing this work to schools and communities nationwide.
